With limited time and resources, it is wonderful to think how much educationists have worked to carry out educational activities in schools for the betterment and development of children in our society. Schools have devoted a phenomenal amount of time in adopting best possible curriculums, conducting teachers’ training and parents-awareness workshops, monitoring the progress of students weekly and monthly and compiling the performance reports of staff members. However, it is a known fact that most of the students across the country are not able to appropriately think upon concepts and ideas that they learn in schools. Knowledge that they receive from books is not easily relatable to the environment they live in. Hence, students do not know how to apply the knowledge they attain during their everyday activities.
Why Futuristic Education?
Considering the importance of Early Childhood Education and Primary Education/Elementary in the development of children, it has become inevitable that school directors and principals must understand the requisite competencies and targets for students of Class Playgroup to Seven. It should also be understood that Holistic education (cognitive, emotional, spiritual, physical and language development of students) along with learning based on Life Skills and Present-Day Skills like AI (Artificial Intelligence), Coding and Robotics and STEAM from age 3-13 requires proper time and attention. If this age group is neglected, students will need extra efforts and resources to have proper development.
Moreover, inability to listen, speak, read and write URDU and English properly which is the medium of communication in books of English, Science, Social Studies, Mathematics and Technology has inhibited the educational development of students. In Science and Mathematics, students may know how to answer and solve questions related to different concepts, but they are unaware why they are studying those concepts and what their significance in their life is.
Your School Branding Creates an Identity
For those unfamiliar with your school, branding helps you create a personality that aligns with your core purpose, helping those unaccustomed with your school to build trust in it. After all, parents will most likely choose a school that reflects their values and can cater to their children's needs. But without an effective branding in place, it's very difficult for these parents to connect with the school on the necessary level to sway them into admission. You only have one chance to make a strong first impression on your prospective families, so you need to make sure you're representing your school in a way that conveys your values and prestige. Consistency is of paramount importance for this. Once you establish a logo and motto, it should appear across all your school's materials, both digital and print. This means that all of your promotional material that you send out in your recruitment drive, such as prospectus' and brochures should convey the same message as that of your website. This consistency helps to convey a strong school brand, one that looks and feels established, and one that is much easier to trust.
Roadmap of ECP
ECP is an organization that focuses on alleviating the problems being faced by schools in imparting international competencies in students from Pre Primary to grade Seven. Our core purpose is to build month-wise consultancy framework in schools where teachers will receive Versatile Teachers’ Training Workshops on educational psychology and pedagogical development, students will attain motivation and direction for conceptual, creative and analytical learning and parents will gain information regarding the latest trends in education. ECP believes that once in year training and awareness workshops cannot bring long-term change in the thinking pattern of teachers, parents and students regarding education. Regular interactions with teachers, parents and students are necessary for monitoring the growth and implementation of ideas being conveyed in training and awareness workshops.
Monthly Plan for the Implementation of STEAM Education
We have divided STEAM monthly planners mainly for three different groups, “Basic, Intermediate and Advanced”. ECP will send separate planners for each group and these planners will be age appropriate. It is recommended that the plans must be implemented on Tuesdays and Wednesdays However, if a school wishes to make its own schedule it can do it keeping in mind its own timetable.
